Although shame and pride are basic human traits they are not absolute and can be considered marginal since they may be lacking or vastly lacking in some people.
However in general humans can feel pride for good deeds, accomplishments
or for excelling.
People for the opposite can feel shame for bad deed, no good deed, or no accomplishment.
